Ryan Kelly, President

Founded Haymaker in 2002, 18+ Years of Industry Experience

Ryan founded Haymaker in 2002 and oversees marketing, sales, finance, operations, and customer satisfaction. A native of Maryland, he has 18+ years of sales and management experience. Before starting Haymaker, he assisted with the opening and growth of the Baltimore/Washington office for a privately held IT integration firm.

Ryan graduated cum laude with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Delaware, where he was a two-time North Atlantic Conference Scholar Athlete award winner for Men’s Lacrosse. He has held certifications from multiple manufacturers including HP, Microsoft, Citrix, and Cisco.

Paula Rose, CPA, Controller

Joined Haymaker in 2009, 20+ Years of Industry Experience

Paula became Haymaker’s controller in 2009 and has been an active CPA since 1994. She graduated from the University of Maryland College of Business and Management with a BS in Finance and spent 20 years in financial and accounting positions at IBM, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and Chevy Chase Bank.

Steven Calvert, Vice President

Joined Haymaker in 2003, 20+ Years of Industry Experience

Steven joined Haymaker in 2003 and is responsible for overall company operations and oversight of proposals, designs, installations, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. He began his 20+ years of experience as a technician and has held positions of increasing importance in all aspects of the industry, including field supervisor, project engineer, project supervisor, and manager for Virginia, Maryland, and DC-based organizations. He holds a number of manufacturer and industry certifications.

Steve Casper, VP of Business Development

Joined Haymaker in 2015, 20+ Years of Government & Industry Experience

Steve’s experience encompasses executive management, business development, project management, marketing, and business and technical consulting in telecommunications, professional services and IT. Steve has over 20 years of experience maneuvering the federal, state and local marketplace. Steve developed a number of substantive partner relationships with companies such as Verizon, Booz Allen Hamilton, Hewlett Packard and AT&T. Steve’s entrepreneurial leadership and his situational awareness of customer requirements initiated successful service offerings such as In-Building Wireless, Business Continuity and Mobility practices. Steve closed several high profile In-Building Wireless contracts including the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
Steve brings successful management ideas and leadership skills to Haymaker with his “earn an A+ everyday” philosophy. Steve believes that great companies provide industry best customer service.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems, as well as a BS in Business Administration and Marketing. His responsibilities include providing strategic vision and growth to all business units for Haymaker.
